The story
Ivory Diamond looks every inch a lady and paints like one, but she is also a ruthless hand in her father Spider Diamond's pirate empire, as much at home behind a celestial cannon as behind an easel. Her one weakness is that she wants a man to love.
Drew Jordan is sent into the pirate stronghold to infiltrate Spider's operation and finds himself handpicked as a companion for Spider's daughter, with his life riding on winning her. Once he has, he knows he can never hand her over to the authorities, because he has found a vulnerable woman inside the formidable lady rogue.
