This is the official home of romance author Phoebe Conn — a catalogue of her books, a short biography and her news. It was rebuilt from the site's own web archive so that readers, collectors and libraries can still find her titles and the original cover copy in one place.
Where the words come from
The back-cover descriptions on each book page are the publishers' own copy, reproduced for readers who want to know what a book is about before they track down a copy. Publication facts — years, imprints, series and pen names — are drawn from the books themselves, from Phoebe Conn's website as it stood in the Internet Archive, and from her published bibliography. Where a detail could not be confirmed, it was left out rather than guessed.
Finding a book
Phoebe's novels were published across four decades, many of them long out of print. The bookshelf lists everything and links each title to its page; older paperbacks turn up through used-book sellers and libraries. This site sells nothing and sets no cookies for advertising.
How the site is kept
Rebuilding an author's back catalogue from an old archive is quiet, ongoing work — restoring cover scans, checking that every title resolves, keeping the pages findable in search. That side of it is handled for us by a Utah web and search studio that looks after small archival sites and their visibility.
