The story
Share the delights of long-ago winter love stories, from ante-bellum Louisiana to Regency England to the Texas range, as three couples find their hearts' desire with the help of some adorable cherubs.
In Phoebe Conn's "Texas Lullaby," young Alexandra Howard gives up her tomboy ways to marry Dr. Clay Burnett and finds herself overwhelmed by the task of playing the perfect physician's wife in a small Texas town, while her husband wonders what happened to the spitfire girl he married. It takes the promise of a little angel of their own to turn this passionate pair into the perfect couple.
About this book
Snow Angels is a multi-author anthology published in 1999. Phoebe Conn's contribution is the novella "Texas Lullaby"; the other two stories are by Cherie Claire and Victoria Dark. The collection's three settings, ante-bellum Louisiana, Regency England and the Texas range, each belong to one of the three authors.
Of the anthologies Phoebe Conn took part in, this is the one where her own site preserved a proper summary of her story. It came after Baby Dreams (1996) and before Lovescape (2004).
